About Me

My name is Farinaz, and I am both an educator and a storyteller. I have always believed in the power of stories to open hearts, spark imagination, and shape lives. My interests in writing span across a variety of genres — from folklore and children’s literature to works in humanities and political science.

Writing for Children

As an educator, I feel a deep responsibility toward children in our modern world. My goal in writing for young readers is to address the challenges they face today with sensitivity and care. With the increasing rates of immigration and the growing diversity of cultures, races, and religions in the Western Hemisphere, education must adapt to help children understand and embrace these differences.

In addition, with progress in psychology, medicine, and the recognition of neurodiversity, children are now growing up in a world where differences — physical, mental, and emotional — are more visible than ever. My mission is to help children recognize this wide range of human differences and learn how to respect, navigate, and celebrate them.

Building Resilience and Emotional Intelligence

Another focus of my children’s writing is to prepare young readers for the realities of life. Stories can gently teach children how to protect themselves against bullies, whether outside the home or within it, and how to find strength even in difficult family dynamics. By presenting situations and solutions in a safe narrative form, I hope to guide children toward independence and resilience.

With lots of love, I wish you and your children magical moments and joyful reading together.
